Fox is the 51st head coach in NCAA baseball history to reach 1,000 wins. He ranks tenth among active head coaches. Fox's 26-year record stands at 1,000-332-5.
Wake Forest head coach Rick Rembielak was denied his 500th career win when his Demon Deacons lost 12-7 to UNC-Wilmington.
