The BIG EAST's comeback hopes could receive a big boost tonight, if Notre Dame (vs. Illinois) and South Florida (vs. Purdue) can pick up wins. The Irish are Illini – in a matchup of "Fighting" nicknames – are tied after three innings (3-3), while USF is shutting out the Boilemakers after three (2-0).
