WVU and Minnesota Still Tied, 4-4 (top of 8th)

Minnesota briefly retook the lead on West Virginia, 4-3, after a pair of infield singles (by Nohelty and McCallum) and McCallum's RBI single to right field. WVU came right back in the bottom of the 7th, as Gyorko's solo home run to left field chased Rasmussen from the game (one batter later). Sophomore RHP Cullen Sexton now is the pitcher of record for Minnesota.

Just as in the previous post about this game, three has been more scoring as I was typing. Minnesota now up 5-4 ... another update soon.
