Saturday Upsets Abound Nationwide

Ten different teams that were ranked in the national preseason top-35 (per the baseball writers, NCBWA) were upset on Saturday - including Cal Poly's doubleheader sweep of Rice - with most of the teams that pulled these upsets not being ranked anywhere in that preseason top-35:

at Cal Poly 7, Rice 6
Vanderbilt 12, at Staford 9 (Stanford won the other game, 6-5)
TCU 7, at Cal State Fullerton 5
Florida 10, Louisville 4
Rutgers 5, at Miami 4 (Miami won other game, 4-2)
Washington 11, at Fresno State 4
Pacific 9, at Baylor 8
Gonzaga 9, Missouri 3 (in Phoneix, AZ)
at Cal State Northridge 6, Pepperdine 2
Sacramento State 10, at Arizona 2
