BIG EAST/Big Ten Almost Done

Indiana held off the USF rally (9-7) and Illinois has put up a six-run and eight-run inning today vs. West Virginia, needing only six more outs to close out WVU (17-9).

An Illinois win would give the Big Ten a 15-8 edge in the Challenge ... and if Purdue can beat Notre Dame (the Boilers have winning run on second, in bottom of 9th), the Big Ten would complete a convincing doubling up of the BIG EAST in this 24-game event.
