LSU is picked to win the SEC's Western Division, while Georgia is tabbed in the conference's Eastern Division in the SEC preseason coaches' poll.
LSU received ten first-place votes and 65 points overall. The Tigers are followed by Ole Miss with 54 points and Alabama with 44 points in the Western Division.
Georgia also received ten first-place votes with 62 overall points. The Bulldogs are followed by Florida's 52 points and Vanderbilt with 40 points in the Eastern Division.
LSU is also picked as the overall SEC champion.
Coaches voted for their overall order of finish in each division as well as the league champion. Points were awarded on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 basis. No coach could vote for his own team.
